Jacob joined UC Davis as a Labor Relations Consultant in Employee and Labor Relations in November 2021. As a Labor Relations Consultant, Jacob leads labor law trainings, administers the grievance and complaint process, and represents departments and the University in arbitrations and Unfair Labor Practice hearings. Before coming to UC Davis, Jacob worked in a clinic for employment and landlord/tenant disputes, a criminal law firm, and a labor law firm. He graduated magna cum laude from Cal Poly Pomona with a degree in Philosophy and a Law and Society option. He has also obtained his law degree, with a Labor and Employment Law Concentration, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and is licensed to practice law in Wisconsin. Outside of work, Jacob enjoys watching baseball, riding his motorcycle, and cooking.
