FAQs and Quick Support
- How do I get a UC Learning Center (UCLC) Account?
For new employees: Employee accounts are automatically generated. It may take 48-72 hours for your information to sync from UCPath to the UCLC. You will also need to create a UC Davis computing account. Once your account is set up and the systems have synced, you can log into the UC Learning Center (UCLC) using your Login (Kerberos ID and Passphrase).
For non-employee students: Apart from student employees, students do not have accounts in the UCLC by default and cannot access the system. If you are a student needing to complete mandatory training in the UCLC for any reason, contact [email protected], with the subject line “Student Account Request”, and include your full name, UC Davis email address, and any information you have on the specific training you need to complete and/or the class for which the training is required.
For non-employees/affiliates (visiting faculty/scholars, volunteers, or others): you will need to be sponsored as a Temporary Affiliate (TAF) to receive an active Kerberos login. A supervisor, principal investigator or other UC Davis employee can sponsor a TAF. Detailed information can be found in the link below. After completing the TAF process and activating your Kerberos account, contact [email protected] to have your UCLC account activated and add “Affiliate Account” to the subject line.
Please note: Due to a high volume of requests, there may be delays in response times. We are processing tickets in the order they were received. If you have questions about an existing ticket, please reply to the original one by visiting My Stuff in the Service Hub. Opening multiple tickets for the same issue will only slow down the resolution process.
