UC Davis employees are allocated time to pursue professional development, training and continuing education opportunities.
Each employee is encouraged to pursue professional development according to the release time afforded by bargaining unit contract or policy. Learning and Organizational Development provides a Funding and/or Release Time Request for Professional Development template for use in departments to facilitate discussion between supervisors and employees.
