Student Community Center

Location:

West of Shields Library and North of the Silo. The Student Community Center (SCC), located in central campus, is home to dynamic student life centers and academic services at UC Davis.

Lactation Support Information: Participants must register for the Lactation Support Program to gain access to the site list and google map of all the rooms. Additionally, guests must sign the University equipment waiver, in order to check out pumps and acknowledge the room etiquette.

Parking:

There are two parking structures you can use for the SCC. A UC Davis parking access validation (permit) is required to park on campus, either through the ParkMobile app or the purchase of an LRPP monthly permit (employees only). Directions:

Pavilion Parking Structure

  • Take Interstate 80 to the Highway 113/Woodland cutoff (just west of campus)
  • Take Highway 113 to the Hutchison Dr exit, turn right if coming from Sacramento, Left if coming from Woodland
  • Cross the light at La Rue Road
  • Turn left on Dairy Road at the next light to enter the Pavilion parking structure
  • From the Parking structure continue East some distance on foot down Hutchison Drive
  • You will pass the Silo on your right
  • Immediately beyond the traffic roundabout is the Student Community Center on your left (California Avenue).

Visitor Parking Lot 40/41

  • Take Interstate 80 to the Highway 113/Woodland cutoff (just west of campus)

  • Make a right into Parking Lot 40/41
  • From the Parking structure continue East some distance on foot down Hutchison Drive
  • You will pass the Silo on your right
